Divine Cycle: Idyll I - The Seed

Forward I step into distant and foreign land,
a commitment to verdant possibility.
A future unknown for me to shape with this hand,
I will follow the currents and plant you, my seed.

Our flight may take you to fields of velvety turf,
or high upon a rocky mountain croft.
Rain fall and petrichor, perfume the nightly surf,
Strengthen your roots and drink my gift aloft.

To provide, to nurture, to protect is my creed.
A peace eternal for you, my seed.
