Happy Wintersday everyone!
Kaysee here to share a short sentiment with you all.
With the New Year fast approaching, Christmas is a time to look back on what we are thankful for; and boy, has it been a wonderful year. The arrival of Guild Wars 2 was what many of us considered a miracle. We were dreaming about the day when we would be able to finally get our eager mittens on the entire game, not some weekend beta! The release came and went, and while some are peacefully moving on, many of us are still utterly captivated by Guild Wars 2.
Personally speaking – this has been a truly wonderful year for me. Through Guild Wars 2 I was able to find a community that I loved. A community that welcomed me with open arms and let me be a part of something which I believe is very special. This community is Chronicles of Tyria. I’ve learnt a lot from our writers and everyone who works on the website. We’ve got a truly gifted set of authors. Not only the website, but the Chronicles of Tyria Guild is perhaps the funniest, kindest and thought-provoking bunch of rag-tags I know. Capping it off is the website founder and guild leader Naveen; who perhaps does not realize how important she is in maintaining not only the website but the actual goodwill and fun-loving atmosphere the guild currently enjoys. As many of you know, due to personal reasons she must step back from the community (particularly the podcast) but we all have high hopes the new year will bring good news and fresh beginnings.
We’d like to say thank you to everyone; Chronicles of Tyria’s readers, writers, guild members and friends, for making Chronicles of Tyria’s community as absolutely fantastic as it is. A guild, website and community is not just a single person, it is many wonderful people. This is why, despite late notice, time constraints and the stress of the holiday season, our writers have worked hard to produce these enthralling Wintersday one-shots especially for our community.
Please enjoy and remember all we have to be thankful for. Have a safe and happy Christmas
